There are many services the Walkerton Police Department offers 24 hours a day. Most of these transactions must be completed in person at the station in order to verify identity or to collect fees.

• Please bring identification with you for local background checks, handgun permits, or deer permits.
• Confidential information on incident reports (such as juvenile data, Social Security numbers, or suspect info in active cases) will be redacted.
• We cannot check a drivers license status for your own personal information. Please visit the Bureau of Motor Vehicles web site.
• If you request copies of multiple incidents over a period of time, please have specific information available (dates, names, locations) and allow 5 business days for research to be completed. The cost is $3.00 per incident found.
